Dean’s Professional Services is now hiring for qualified Medical Front Desk/Team Lead to work for a large Healthcare Organization in Downtown Houston

Patient Reception Specialist Job Details:
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm
Location: 1934 Caroline St, Houston, TX 77002
Starting Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hourly + (Based on experience)
Temporary to hire

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide support and guidance to our front desk team
• Serve as the front-office point of contact and represent the organization in a professional and courteous manner.
• Welcome patients, visitors, clients, and staff and provide exceptional customer service.
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls, messages, and inquiries.
• Schedule and coordinate appointments, meetings, and administrative activities.
• Assist with patient registration, check-in/check-out, referrals, authorizations, and other administrative processes as needed.
• Maintain accurate records, documentation, correspondence, and files.
• Communicate effectively with patients, providers, leadership, and internal departments.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism and discretion.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalency required.
• EPIC experience required.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant or medical office experience.
• Previous lead or supervisory experience.
• Ability to train, mentor and foster professional growth.
• Bilingual-English/ Spanish Preferred.
