Job Description The Greer Group has a great opportunity available for an experienced HR Administrative Assistant to join a busy and fast-paced
manufacturing HR team in the Canton area. This position will provide administrative support to the HR department while assisting with interviews, employee communications, benefits orientations, and employee events.
We are looking for someone who is
organized, detail-oriented, creative, and comfortable working with confidential information. The ideal candidate has some HR experience, enjoys working with people, can manage multiple priorities, and is able to stay organized and professional in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities - Assist with coordinating and conducting candidate interviews
- Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department
- Assist with employee onboarding and HR-related processes
- Conduct and/or assist with employee benefits orientations
- Prepare employee communications, announcements, and informational materials
- Create creative and engaging flyers and communications for employee events and activities
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee information and records
- Assist with employee events and HR initiatives
- Respond to employee questions and direct them to the appropriate HR resources
- Manage multiple tasks and priorities while maintaining strong attention to detail
- Provide general administrative support to the HR team as needed
Qualifications - Previous HR experience preferred OR an Associate or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with professionalism
- Creative and resourceful with the ability to develop engaging employee communications and materials
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills and the ability to learn new systems and software
- Professional, dependable, and team-oriented
Schedule & Compensation - Starting pay: $25.00/hour
- Monday-Friday, generally 8: 00 AM-5: 00 PM
- Some flexibility with the schedule may be available
- Occasional overtime may be required
- Temporary position with the potential for permanent hire after approximately 6 months , based on performance and business needs
